The perfect package

The client: The Digital Advert Agency

After we had developed a brand for The Digital Advert Agency, it was time to crack those knuckles and get down to business on a brand new website. This upstart digital marketing agency specialised in paid social packages – the perfect entry product for people who were used to more traditional advertising.

The Moment of Change: Waking up

During the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of businesses found they didn’t have the budget to take their usual advert slots in the local paper. That’s where The Digital Advert Agency aimed to plug the gap. Instead of spending loads on a full-page in the North-West Evening Mail (the South Lakes’ finest paper, Robyn once won a £10 McDonald’s voucher from there), you could target your audience where they were spending all their time anyway – social media.

The plan we made

The website had to be easy enough for those less tech-savvy businesses to understand, while having the ability to host an e-commerce checkout so they could add a social package to their basket, check out and let the team take it from there.

We opted for a WordPress site with custom page templates, along with a WooCommerce integration that used Stripe as its payment portal. This way, the team could easily expand their package options as they grew, while providing a familiar checkout experience for businesses to engage with.

The story we told

The site not only had to be easy to use, but we wanted it to look bloody good, too. We came up with loads of iconography in our signature social colour scheme that would make it easy for businesses to know exactly what The Digital Advert Agency were all about. We split all the key information up into easily stackable cards and sections, so everything would flow nicely on both mobile and desktop.

The site had a comprehensive blog section with loads of flexibility so the team could add SEO-rich articles to boost those search rankings. We also gave them templates for landing pages, so they could target specific audiences – an absolute must.

The Mighty change

Our site for The Digital Advert Agency smashed all of their expectations and helped them climb up that Google ladder for digital marketing and advertising keywords. Lovely stuff.
